Do you help with the Marriage License?
Yes - this can only be applied for 3 months before the wedding date, and I send you the link for this at that time. You can choose to get this sent directly to me to have printed & ready on the day. You can also apply for your marriage certificate at the same time.
Do I need Witnesses?
Yes - no matter the kind of ceremony you opt for, you will need to have 2 witnesses present to sign the legal paperwork. They can be anyone you choose, including children, but they must be old enough to understand the significance of the ceremony and be able to explain that understanding in court if ever needed; it's not about age but comprehension
Do you provide celebrant services for the LGBTQIA+ community?
Absolutely! Love is love, and I'm honoured to celebrate all couples. I warmly welcome and enthusiastically support LGBTQIA+ weddings and civil unions. You'll find a safe, affirming space here, and a celebrant who's genuinely excited to be part of your special day.
Do you require a deposit?
Yes - once we have met and you decide you would like me as your celebrant - a 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your date. Once this has been paid, we can start planning your special day. The remaining fee is payable 2 weeks prior to your wedding day.
Do you travel?
Yes - I am based in Auckland & don't charge a travel fee for anywhere within Auckland, but am happy to discuss travel to anywhere in NZ
What do you wear?
Whatever you like! I always make sure to check with the couple to make sure I don't clash with the wedding party colour scheme - and have a range of outfits to fit with whatever your dress code is.
